About the role

As Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst , and member of our Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence team, you will be part of a world class security operations team that protects Haleon’s brands, technology, and users from cyber threats.

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative environment. This role requires strong organizational, technical and communication skills.

This role shares responsibility for periodic on-call support with the rest of the Cyber Security Operations team.

Role Responsibilities

Research threat actors and their associated tools, tactics, procedures, and goals

Research emerging threats from malware samples, exploitation attempts, and other evidence of staged malicious infrastructure and activity

Produce relevant written tactical and strategic intelligence reports from threat intelligence research and emerging cyber security events

Contribute to regular situational updates for distribution to security operations teams, information technology teams, enterprise risk management teams, and executive decision makers

Maintain threat indicators and correlations to malicious threat actors and campaigns

Collaborate with and support Incident Response, Security Operations, Security Analytics, Network Security, and Endpoint Security teams

Guide proactive measures to prevent and detect cyber security threats, while providing contextual information from threat intelligence research

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field and Minimum eight (8) years experience in IT or a related field, including Minimum two (3) years in information security or network engineering.

Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Understanding of common network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS / IPS, antivirus, EDR, etc

Understanding of malware and threat actor attribution

Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, exploits, and detections

Experience utilizing SIEM solutions for endpoint and network event analysis

Experience with malware sample analysis and common tools such as VirusTotal, Hybrid-Analysis, Joe Sandbox, or other analysis and sandbox technologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Five (5) years combined experience in cyber security operations, threat intelligence, or incident response

Holds applicable certification(s) such as GIAC GCTI, GCFA, GNFA, GCIH, GREM

Experience with programming or scripting languages, such as Python, Javascript, C, C++, etc

Experience with adversary intelligence, threat actor attribution

Experience with deep and dark web monitoring

Familiarity with a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP), such as ThreatStream, ThreatConnect, IntSights, MISP, etc

Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Framework

Location this role is Hybrid based in : Poznan or Warsaw, Poland
