Job description - candidate must be able to display empathy with customers, ability to handle difficult callers with professionalism
Supporting Disability Case Managers and Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellors on a variety of tasks and liaison for plan members;
schools / colleges; and other stakeholders
Managing new claim set up
Providing front line customer service by telephone and email
Accountability for administrative duties and follow ups with claimants for outstanding information
Other duties as needed

Qualifications
As the preferred candidate, you will possess :
Bilingual (English / French) required, verbal and written. Post secondary education (would be an asset)
Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative / clerical role (would be an asset)
Knowledge of medical terminology and / or insurance terminology / concepts would be an asset
Knowledge of the Canadian Armed Forces terminology, processes and concepts would be an asset
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Web Based applications
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Solid office administration skills
Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Analytical skills with a close attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Deadline driven
