REGISTERED NURSE (RN), PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR, EMERGENCY

Position Summary
Looking for an experienced nursing leader for the Ksyen Regional Hospital. If you are passionate about providing effective and efficient delivery of hospital services, please look into this position.

The Patient Care Coordinator facilitates the admission, discharge and patient transfer processes, and is responsible for coordinating patient/resident care when necessary. The role promotes the efficient allocation and utilization of beds to determine patient placement and support patients receiving quality care. The Patient Care Coordinator assists the Program Managers in establishing and maintaining standards of patient care and is responsible for coordinating the operations of the hospital in the absence of managers, department heads and senior administrative personnel.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 (rotating)


A first in Canada: minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) are starting in .! Qualfications
•Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
• Five years recent acute care experience with one years’ supervisory experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
