Summer Student, Underwriting

At Northbridge, the Underwriting team customizes solutions for our commercial clients when they need insurance products to cover our large, commercial technical risks.

The Underwriting Summer Student will be responsible for helping with the following :

• Relatively simple file management or issuance of policies
• File entry to help subscribers with new business
• Management of construction site extensions in the event of TA overflow
• Other administrative tasks as required.

This position is for you if you are great at :

• Providing administrative support
• Managing your time
• Communicating effectively
• Other related duties as needed

You have :

• Completed or ongoing post-secondary education
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A demonstrated flexibility to work both independently and within a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
