Our client is an industry leading Canadian company that manufactures, distributes and markets category-leading products for the automotive, commercial heavy-duty, and industrial markets.
They currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager Western Region that covers BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all sales activities in the western region with a strong focus on strategy execution, volume, share, and profit targets, maximizing sales coverage efficiency, developing business relationships with franchise
groups and customers, and achieving targeted distribution levels on strategic initiatives.
This role is based in the Lower Mainland, and offers a base salary ($120-140k target range, based on skills & experience), 30% bonus target (can be over achieved), benefits, RRSP match, company vehicle, and mental and physical wellness allowances.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and implement region specific strategic sales plans to achieve sales and financial goals
- Maintain and increase customer penetration through high level, meaningful contact with key customers within the business unit
- Develop and manage sales expense budgets for the region to manage costs while maximizing sales and profits
- Collaborate with sales leadership to continually refine and effectively manage the sales process
- Manage activities and performance of all sales team members
- Establish and communicate clear goals and expectations to direct reports. Lead weekly or bi-weekly calls / meetings with direct reports to review individual performance metrics
- Work cross functionally with supply chain, finance, customer care, and marketing teams
