The Role :

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Process Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will collaborate with resources from the Technical and Operations Departments to apply your expertise in chemical process operations and control.

Responsibilities :

Troubleshoot and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and address operational challenges.

Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, coupled with personal initiative and follow-through.

Provide valuable process support to capital projects through the Engineering Department, as well as contribute to environmental and quality management initiatives through the Technical Department.

Add value in areas such as process troubleshooting, statistical process control, process tuning, energy efficiency, environmental improvements, product quality enhancement, and cost reduction.

Proficiently utilize computers and diagnose systems effectively.

Maintain a safety-oriented mindset throughout all tasks and projects.

Exhibit familiarity with process and environmental efficiencies.

Possess excellent communication skills and actively engage in cross-departmental collaboration.

Uphold high standards of personal performance and display leadership qualities to motivate and guide others.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.

Possess at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, equipment, and fundamentals.

Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and gather data effectively.

Demonstrated leadership skills within professional settings.

Previous experience in an industrial environment.

Any combination of training and relevant experience that demonstrates the required skills will be considered.

Experience in environmental monitoring and compliance is advantageous.

Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
