Salary : $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 40-50 hours per week.
Employment Type : Permanent, Full-time, Day shift.
Overview
We are looking for a building services worker to perform routine maintenance tasks in a factory or plant environment. The role involves making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, performing minor appliance repairs, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and handling painting and drywall repair tasks. Work will be performed on-site and under all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; coordinate with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
High school graduation (secondary) certificate.Experience in production environment preferred; will train.Proficiency with power tools.Physical ability to handle up to 45 kg, bend, crouch, kneel, and work under pressure.Dependable, excellent oral communication, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable.Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry check required.Benefits
