Our client, a leading manufacturer in the building products industry, is currently searching for a Customer Service Representative to join their team immediately on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be joining a well-recognized team of experts who are leaders in the building products industry. This is a 100% in-office position working out of their facility in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Role and Responsibilities
End-to-End Order Management :
- Execute the full order cycle, including data entry for orders received via EDI, Email, and Fax .
- Monitor order status throughout the production stages, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Generate accurate invoices and manage the distribution of essential shipping documentation.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination :
Maintain and audit real-time inventory reports to ensure product availability matches sales commitments.Liaise with the Shipping department to coordinate freight and logistics schedules.Customer Advocacy & Quality Support :
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.Manage quality concerns or returns by documenting issues and coordinating solutions with internal technical teams.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with Production Scheduling to understand lead times and with Finance to resolve billing discrepancies.Provide independent analysis to prioritize urgent orders and manage high-volume daily workflows.Qualifications :
High School Diploma required; Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is highly preferred.2+ years of relevant customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredAdvanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook and Excel)Hands-on experience with ERP software is required; specific knowledge of Syspro is an assetStrong verbal and written communication to articulate detailed technical information and production, shipping, and technical data clearly to customers while maintaining a professional and polished demeanor.A proven track record of acting as a professional liaison between internal departments, including Production Scheduling, Shipping, Inventory, and Finance .Strong independent judgment and problem-solving skills to effectively prioritize high-volume sales orders and resolve logistical bottlenecks.Demonstrated ability to remain focused and accurate in a fast-paced office environment subject to frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.Exceptional organizational skills with the discipline to meet strict daily, weekly, and month-end deadlines.If you believe you are a qualified candidate for this position and would like to pursue this opportunity, please apply to this position by sending your resume to alan.hung@expandreach.ca!
