This involves using enterprise systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) and tools to enroll students in programs and courses; process dropped courses; input grades, transfer credits, and milestones; and maintain current and historical student files. It requires detailed knowledge of institutional records policies and procedures as well as a solid understanding of records management.You will also respond to walk-in requests, phone calls, and electronic inquiries (e.g., email, live chat, instant messaging, online forms) related to programming and services at the College. You will provide support to special events such as Convocation, Orientation, Open House, and Get Started; prepare a variety of letters efficiently and accurately; and print transcripts. You also will work collaboratively with campus and provincial teams, reflecting NSCC's Student Affairs integrated service delivery model.Other duties will include (but are not limited to):Providing basic administrative support such as filing, booking rooms, meetings, and general office support as neededCross training with our Business Office to assist with cashiering and other financial tasks, especially during busy times. Qualifications Qualifications and Occupational Experience: The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration combined with a minimum of two years' (full-time equivalent) recent and related experience in a fast-paced office environment. Or you have the recognized equivalency of a high school diploma with significant (10+) years of administrative experience.You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams.
