Remote WordPress Front-End Developer (LATAM Preferred)

About the Role

We are hiring a front-end WordPress developer. This is a remote contractor position to start , with potential for a long-term ongoing role based on fit and performance.

We prefer candidates based in LATAM for timezone alignment. You’ll work directly with our small team on new builds, maintenance, and optimizations, always balancing conversion-first principles with good user experience (UX) .

We are looking for someone who is resourceful , self-directed , and thinks critically — not just someone who executes tasks, but someone who makes good decisions and brings ideas forward.

Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress themes and templates (no page builders unless necessary)
• Prioritize conversion best practices (clear CTAs, fast load times, mobile-first) while keeping clean, simple UX
• Work with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), WooCommerce, and Elementor (if required)
• Optimize sites for speed, responsiveness, and engagement
• Follow best practices for SEO, accessibility, and mobile optimization
• Problem-solve issues independently before asking for help
• Collaborate via Slack, Asana, and Git
