Desired Background :

• 6+ years of experience in intellectual property law
• Strong background with experience drafting and prosecuting both foreign and Canadian patent applications
• Run discovery, take depositions, writing briefs all relating to patents
• Admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) a plus, not a requirement
• Admitted to practice in Alberta required
• Registered Canadian Patent Agent required
