Packer/Machine Operator- APLPP

Armor People Link is looking to hire Machine Operator for Brampton based client who manufactures Plastic food bags. The company is based out at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.

The candidate will be doing all 3 shifts as below: (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS)
1. Morning Shift: 7 am-3:15pm at $21.55/hour
2. Afternoon Shift: 3pm- 11:15pm at $21.55/hour +$ 0.75 as afternoon shift premium
3. Night Shift: 11:15pm-7:15am at $21.55/hour + $1.25 as night shift premium

PLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work Full-time and are not attending school. The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Overseeing machine operations & making minor machine adjustments
Discussing with Set Up Operators any machine issues
Entering information onto computer & printing labels
Making boxes, retrieving pallets, lifting bundles of bags from conveyor
Inspecting bags for defects and conducting quality tests
Lifting bags and boxes up to 10lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs with a partner
Requirements:
WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Anyone who has completed the high school diploma
Anyone with minimum 6 months of previous manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude will be preferred
Confidence working with basic machines is also valued
Must be eligible to work legally full- time in Canada without the requirement of PR support by the employer
Prior experience of working different shifts is an asset (preferably experience with nights)

SELECTION CRITERIA:
An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for an interview
Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
Police clearance check is a MUST
Double Covid-19 vaccination status is required
