Reporting to the Food Service Manager the Dietary Aide plays a pivotal role in enriching the lives of residents by providing nutritious and delicious meals, that are prepared and served with love. This is a Part Time role including a rotational weekend schedule , though extended hours may be required from time to time. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven, requiring high attention to detail and strong time management skills. The role includes regular use of computer systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring food is handled in a safe manner, including proper storage and labeling
• Assisting cooks in basic food preparation
• Executing proper food service in relation to internal and external guidelines and protocols
• Serving meals according to Resident diet orders
• Washing, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining room
