Are you an experienced Machinist from Waterloo / Wellington area who can operate a variety of machines to complete given projects & tasks?
Do you have experience using both automated and manual equipment ? Do you have at least 1-2 years of experience operating CNC Milling machines?
This position in Waterloo might be for you!
A strong candidate will demonstrate a solid ability to :
- Programming and running CNC Machining Centre in custom machine shop
- Past experience working on Manual CNC Machines
- Draw and generate programs with MasterCAM and Solidworks
- Be fluent with interpreting drawings / blueprints
- Select and setup the appropriate machines and perform quality control
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety and quality regulations

Responsibilities
- Draw and generate programs with MasterCAM, as well as make programs on CNC controller on shop floor
- Be fluent with interpreting drawings / blueprints
- Select and setup the appropriate machines and perform quality control
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in the field as a machinist
- Experience using / programming manual, semi-automatic or automatic tools and machines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and manuals
- Mastercam experience is an asset
- Highly proficient on manual lathes and milling machines
