Superintendent - Woodframe

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Superintendent in Langford, BC .

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for a project, ensuring compliance with contract documents.
• Maintain regular communication with senior management, consultants, inspectors, and officials involved in the project.
• Review project plans, specifications, and documentation, reporting discrepancies to the Construction Manager.
• Manage the construction schedule, ensuring contractors and suppliers meet critical deadlines.
• Ensure completion of all required inspections, permits, and occupancy deadlines, coordinating with the Construction Manager.
• Uphold construction quality, safety standards, and respond to emergencies as required.

Requirements :

• 3+ years of proven experience in leading and directing all field personnel
• Strong understanding of the construction process, including Wood-Frame over parkade.
• Excellent and respectful verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to execute and get tasks done efficiently
