Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist

Base Pay Range

CA$80,000.00 / yr - CA$90,000.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to understand processes and KPIs, lead requirements sessions, and translate business needs into clear analytical solutions
Build and maintain analytics solutions on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Build pipelines (PySpark, SQL, Fabric Lakehouse), implement data validations, and troubleshoot and resolve data issues
Break down complex requests into actionable tasks, investigate data discrepancies, ensure accuracy of critical reporting, and drive automation and process improvement

Preferred background and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, analytics or related field

Minimum 4 years relevant experience working in a BI or analytics role

Experience working with Finance (GL, P&L), Supply Chain (Inventory, Logistics), or Sales data

Experience or knowledge of SQL, PySpark and data engineering pipelines

Experience implementing row-level security, column-level filtering, role-based access controls, and data masking / anonymization

Data architecture, design, and enterprise data modeling for data warehousing

Microsoft Fabric certification or prior implementation experience

Familiarity with ERP applications data

Experience with Data Governance (DG) framework

Notes

This is a hybrid role (three days a week in office) based out of our Richmond HQ

The base salary will be between $80,000 - $90,000 with a 10% bonus
