Business Development Manager, Canada

Job Description

• Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, understanding business needs, developing proposals and completing contracts.
• Establish, maintain and develop business relationships with sellers and potential sellers to enhance the potential for selling value-added services on a regional level.
• Plan and organize an ongoing sales strategy derived from the corporately defined revenue and profit targets.
• Contact new sellers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by Newegg’s services. Present quotes, credit terms, bid specifications and all other options.
• Answer sellers’ questions about services and negotiate prices and terms of service agreements.
• Gather and manage intelligence regarding sellers’ profile, type, core business industry, buying trends, needs and preferences.

Complete sales reports, reviews and other paperwork.

• Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly.

Job Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related equivalent experience
• 5+ years of business development experience or experiences logistics sales
• Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
• A solid understanding of Supply Chain and business management.
• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Superior business and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated business communication skills with emphasis in facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service experience with a keenness to exceed customer requirements.
• Goal and results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales goals.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of handling multiple priorities.
