About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist within Victaulic's Corporate Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, analyzing transportation data, and optimizing our supply chain through process improvement initiatives. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in achieving our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Payment and Logistics Operations :

• Provide backup for freight payment functions and create monthly accrual and accounting / aging reports.
• Analyze carrier contracts, rates, and tariffs to ensure accurate billing and resolve disputes.
• Monitor and support freight bills for compliance to approved contracts.
• Obtain spot quotes and assist with carrier negotiations to leverage best-in-class pricing and performance.
• Coordinate and execute shipments of finished goods and bulk materials (domestic and international).
• Utilize Harmonized Tariff to classify international shipments.
• Analyze and forecast future transportation needs.
