Why This Role is Important

Reporting to the Senior Manager, PCMC Product Management, this role is responsible for managing the PC Financial creditor insurance product portfolio ( Payment Support Plan ).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the creditor insurance portfolio at PC Financial.

The candidate in this role will liaise with stakeholders across the business including legal, compliance, marketing and digital to develop and execute initiatives focused on driving Portfolio growth.

Utilizing analytical capabilities, strong financial acumen as well as superior communication, relationship management & organizational skills, the candidate will work on complex and ambiguous strategic initiatives.

Program and vendor management are a key, and critical, component of this role. You will be a critical partner in driving customer comprehension, acquisition and retention within the PC Financial Creditor Insurance Portfolio!

What You’ll Do :

  • Take ownership and accountability for driving profitable growth through steadfast prioritization of initiatives and optimization of the creditor insurance P&L
  • Responsible to lead the day-to-day operations including new projects and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to create portfolio growth and optimize operational efficiencies.
  • Report on portfolio and program results, inform forecasts and develop annual plans
  • Work with key internal and external partners to drive business initiatives to execution. Including using creative thinking and problem solving to clear roadblocks
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, internally and externally, to gain critical business support through a collaborative working style, including working closely with our marketing, digital, and data insights teams
  • Work in coordination with the digital, marketing & acquisition teams to collaborate on campaigns that propel acquisition and improve customer retention through proactive base management tactics
  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Develop specific portfolio management and alternate revenue growth strategies to achieve performance targets
  • Business case development and channel management, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational oversight
  • Support the development of executive ready presentations

What You Bring :

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or Engineering
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a Product, Marketing or Analytics function
  • Payments or insurance industry experience with experience leading P&L
  • Distinctive problem-solving skills and very strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong time management skills - You have excellent organizational to deal with multiple and sometimes conflicting demands and time constraints
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and to help simplify and build structure where none exists
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with consistent track record of distilling complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving high impact results and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Product or Portfolio management experience preferred
