The Manager of Total Rewards will play a pivotal role in the strategic development, execution, and communication of the company’s compensation, pension, and benefits frameworks.

This role is essential for driving the change management process, managing recognition programs, and overseeing policy management to ensure our offerings are competitive and effective in attracting, retaining, and rewarding talent.

This position also involves leading HRIS administration and analytics for the People & Culture department. Role Responsibilities :

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to employee total rewards, offering solutions and information to foster strong, trusting relationships within the workplace.
  • Works collaboratively within the People & Culture team and with business partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactively identifies the needs of employees and leadership, committing to exceptional service and support.
  • Upholds and promotes a workplace environment focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), ensuring all employees feel respected and valued.
  • Manages the secure storage and access to sensitive employee information and files.
  • Utilizes data-driven methods to develop and adjust direct and indirect financial and non-financial employee benefits and compensation, including salary structures and recognition initiatives.
  • Engages in ongoing labor market research and participates in salary and employee surveys to stay ahead of trends and best practices in total rewards and employee benefits.
  • Handles sensitive issues with confidentiality and tact, and manages relationships with external pension and benefit vendors.
  • Analyzes and provides strategic recommendations to keep ESA plans competitive and cost-effective.
  • Manages all employee-related activities such as leave administration, open enrollment, and transitions related to hiring and termination processes.
  • Creates and leads communication efforts related to employee benefits, compensation, and pension activities, and conducts presentations to enhance understanding across the organization.
  • Participates in the evaluation and negotiation with vendors to explore cost-saving opportunities and service enhancements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in total rewards, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • CHRP or Certified Compensation Professional designation is preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience in the electrical sector or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience designing variable compensation models and working in a multi-union environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and extensive knowledge of HRIS.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and agile workplace.
  • High level of initiative, flexibility, and motivation.
