Mainline Operator

WE ARE HIRING A MAINLINE OPERATOR! The successful candidate will be trenching in utilities in a new sub-division, digging around existing water main lines, working with shallow utilities, digging around existing utilities and working within tight spaces locally in the city.

Candidates will be required to work closely with pipelayers and gradesmen to ensure work is performed to specific site blueprints / drawings.

Candidates may be asked to perform preventative maintenance and labor when required. Work is all based in and around Calgary.

Must have own reliable transportation and ability to get to different sites as required. Do not do work out of town, primarily based in town.

OPPORTUNITY BENEFITS :

• Candidates will be working 10-12 hours per day
• Pay is $32 / hr-$38 / hr
• Start days at 7am

OPPORTUNITY REQUIEMENTS :

• 3+ years experience trenching around main line water / waste water
• Ability to double / triple ditch
• Reading and interpreting elevations
• Experience around live utilities
• General labor as required
