Application Development Manager
This is a remote position.
Our client is an established yet burgeoningSaaS platform focused on increasing convenient access to corecorporate services with technology.
Part of their product suite isa timetested solution that solves a fundamental gap in themarketing automation market. With tens of thousands of customersaround the world their users save time and reduce errors on routinetasks.
This role can be performedremotely across Canada or a combination of both onsight and remote.A day in the life might look like :
- Collaborating with your teamto : understand the challenges their business faces identify themost impactful opportunities and craft a roadmap for the team;
- Working with your team on preparing an architecture document for anupcoming project; Working with the developers on your team to breakdown a project into deliverable chunks of work;
- Giving greatfeedback on code reviews architecture documents and more to helpsupport team members making great technical decisions for theirprojects;
- Having one on one meetings with your direct reports tomake sure they are supported in their career growth and developmentgoals;
Reviewing code contributed by members from your team orother developers reaching out to you for your experience with agiven technology or pattern.
Working with other developers to buildand maintain scalable and reliable software system
Requirements
10 years of experience in software development. Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills Excellent communication andteamwork skills Participate in the full software developmentlifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment Troubleshootand debug software applications Keep up with the latest trends andtechnologies in software development
