Training Specialist, In-Flight Service
About the Role
Join our dynamic Training team and play a key role in shaping the next generation of Air Canada Rouge Cabin Crew. This position is ideal for passionate aviation professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, love mentoring others, and want to contribute to the unique Rouge culture. You’ll deliver world-class training, provide onboard coaching, and support our YVR base, all while ensuring safety and service excellence remain top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging IFS training sessions that meet all regulatory standards and requirements.
- Coordinate Rouge Crew training programs, including Initial, First Aid, Annual Recurrent, Service, and other specialized sessions.
- Act as the primary liaison between Air Canada Rouge and external training providers.
- Participate in training delivery audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage all administrative tasks and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Oversee print materials for training courses and publications.
- Coach and mentor team members on special training assignments; may include on-the-job and onboard coaching and mentoring.
- Provide base support as required and assist with operational needs.
- Support Flight Attendant recruitment activities as required.
- Maintain safety as the top priority in all daily operations.
- Maintain personal Flight Attendant qualifications and flying hours.
- Be available for business travel and operational support on a 24 / 7 basis.
- Ability to work shift schedules as required.

Qualifications and Skills
Previous instructional experience (preferable); Bachelor of Education is an asset.Working knowledge of Transport Canada Flight Attendant Training Standard, Canadian Aviation Regulations (Parts I, VI, VIII), and Commercial Air Service Standards.Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies.Demonstrated commitment to customer service and safety.Excellent facilitation, presentation, organizational, and administrative skills.Ability to adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.Diversity and Inclusion
