Role : Bus Driver

Wage : $23.00 per hour

Hours : Part Time, Monday to Friday

Location : Prince George Family YMCA (2020 Massey Drive)

About the Program :

The YMCA BC is the largest not-for-profit provider of child care in Canada and YMCA BC is the largest provider in the north, serving : Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St.

James, Fort St. John, Hudson’s Hope, Prince George, Pouce Coupe, Tumbler Ridge and Vanderhoof. YMCA Child Care is a home away from home.

Responsibilities of this role :

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any concerns to Coordinator
  • Safely transport children from their schools to their respective centres
  • Provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for children while ensuring safe passage to their destination

Qualifications :

  • Minimum Class 2 Driver’s License or willingness to obtain
  • 19 years of age or older (per licensing)
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search & physical ability to do all duties required
  • Current Child Care First Aid, CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • Three professional references
