We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you’ll be the vital link between management and field teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing schedules, and providing the resources and support necessary to maintain productivity and safety standards.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives under tight deadlines and enjoys problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Communicate management goals to field teams and employees, ensuring clear direction and alignment with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government guidelines across all operations.
- Provide support and resources to staff to help them perform their tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver timely reports to management outlining group productivity and workplace improvements.
- Organize daily logistical operations, including scheduling equipment and coordinating transportation for field tasks.
- Act as the main point of contact for employees, resolving concerns and addressing day-to-day operational needs.
- Schedule and oversee equipment for field tasks, ensuring everything is functional and ready for use.
- Obtain quotes and purchase orders for job loadouts and field execution requirements.
- Manage client relationships and sales, ensuring excellent service and communication.
- Conduct field visits to inspect worker performance and ensure operations are running smoothly.
- Coordinate equipment inspections
- Order PPE equipment and ensure timely delivery for field personnel.
- Coordinate safety training, orientations, and onboarding for new hires and existing employees.
- Review service orders and job paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure vehicle and equipment compliance with CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics coordination, preferably within an industrial or field service environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with both staff and clients.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with PPE, equipment testing, and safety protocols is a plus.
- Proficiency in using office software and logistics management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to conduct field visits as needed.
This is an in-office position based out of our Sherwood Park location, with the requirement to travel to job sites as needed to conduct inspections and provide support to staff and clients.
