Job description3–5+ years full‑cycle bookkeeping, Public Practice preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll, GST / PST, and accounting principles. Excellent communicator who can explain numbers clearly. Bookkeeper
Looking for a hands‑on Bookkeeper who thrives in Public Practice! You’ll manage multiple small business clients, keep their books spotless, and be their go‑to for payroll, tax backlinks & software guidance. This isn’t data entry. You’re the quality checkpoint and mentor for junior staff.
What You’ll Do : Handle bookkeeping for diverse clients, up to General Ledger / Trial Balance.
- Prepare GST, PST, WCB returns & full‑cycle payroll (T4s included).
- Produce management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) from QuickBooks or Sage.
- Solve “mystery transactions” and train clients on accounting tools.
- Mentor junior team members and review complex transactions.
