90,710 - $122,726Experienced and highly organized Procurement Manager needed

Oversee the sourcing and procurement of technology products and services at FCC. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure that IT needs are met in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner. You’ll play a key role in optimizing technology spending while maintaining a high standard of service and quality.

This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages. In the event that a qualified bilingual candidate is not found, a qualified unilingual candidate will be considered and supported in their second official language training. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do :

  • Lead and / or support RFx events within your assigned category including developing RFxs as well as carrying out sourcing activities
  • Complete research and analysis to support a category strategy that delivers savings and efficiencies for FCC
  • Lead and deliver on category management initiatives, including establishing necessary processes and procedures

  • What you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration / economics / commerce, supply chain management or other related field
  • 5-8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement standards and practices including, strategic sourcing, contract management and vendor management
  • Must be working towards or have already completed an industry recognized procurement or supply chain management certification
