Glazing Estimator

Position: Glazing EstimatorLocation: BramptonAre you detail-oriented with a passion for numbers? We are seeking a motivated Glazing Estimator to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in analyzing project costs, ensuring that we deliver quality work on budget and on time.What You'll Do:- Review tender documents and engineering drawings to understand project requirements.- Provide accurate quantity and cost estimates for projects.- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive rates.- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, and other project costs.- Generate quotations as per drawing requirements and customer specifications.- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.- Create detailed proposals and bidding documents, presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders.- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness and accuracy in estimates.- Identify potential risks in projects and provide recommendations to mitigate them.Qualifications:- Must have glazing building materials space- Must have 3-5 years' experience managing approximately 20 quotes/estimates per day- Previous experience in estimating using AutoCAD required- Bachelor's degree in building materials management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in estimating software and tools- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaborationREFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
