Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for an Accounting Administrative Clerk to join their team.
Position Description : Responsibilities
- Address and resolve vendor-related billing and payment concerns, including overcharges, undercharges, HST miscalculations, refunds, and cancellations.
- Obtain necessary paperwork from vendors and scan / upload to appropriate client files in the case management system.
- Identify files where receipts are required, collect receipts from clients, and scan / upload them into the case management system.
- Pursue uncashed checks with clients and vendors.
- Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and billing issues.
- Maintain updated client demographic information on relevant databases.
- Perform various administrative duties to support the Accounting Team.
- Organize and maintain office records and files in their proper electronic and physical locations.
- Assist with meeting coordination, including preparing agendas and recording minutes as needed.
- Provide occasional backup support to reception as needed.
Qualifications :
- Post-secondary degree / diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
- years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a financial or accounting environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with database systems and accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comprehension of Russian will be considered a strong asset.
- Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus.
- Fluency in Russian is necessary, and Hebrew will be considered an asset.
