IT Director

Apply Digital is hybrid / remote friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in the Vancouver area of Canada. This is a hybrid role, andsome responsibilities must be conducted in the office.

If hired, this candidate is expected to be in the Vancouver office 1 day per week.

Apply Digital is seeking an IT Director to empower our teams with best of breed tooling and give our client peace of mind with practical and effective security processes and policies.

We are a SaaS and cloud powered group of people who are used to working with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee all IT operations, including cloud services, network architecture, data security, hardware systems, and software licensing

Provide tactical direction on day to day operations

Set quarterly and yearly goals as well as longer term strategies

Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems

Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies that improve productivity, efficiency, and customer experience

Manage and mentor a small IT team

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective operations

Job requirements

10+ years of experience in enterprise IT preferred

Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Experience in hiring, team-building, and mentoring

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions

Deep understanding of security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security

Knowledge of emerging cloud security technologies and trends, and ability to recommend solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices

Experience with macOS in an Enterprise environment
