The Opportunity :

Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting daily banking, cash management and forecasting treasury activities.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life :

  • Support implementation and management of new Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Support Treasury related preparations for carve-out of pork business
  • Assist with daily preparation and analysis of cash forecasts
  • Administer banking activities for all operating units including opening bank accounts, setting up and managing users and KYC requests
  • Support execution of cash management activities such as wires and transfers
  • Assist with preparation of various accounts receivable securitization reports
  • Develop periodic journal entries for banking activities
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of bank account documentation
  • Update treasury policies
  • Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
  • Assist with annual budget activities
  • Support various banking projects and initiatives

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Interest in pursuing a professional designation is an asset (e.g. CPA, CFA, CTP)
  • Experience with treasury systems is an asset
