Position Summary :
The role of a Senior Warehouse Supervisor leads and supports the warehouse operations for a Martin Brower’s Canada Distribution Centre. In this 24-7 multi-temp environment, this position is responsible for achieving safety, service and finance goals, through continuous improvement initiatives, innovation and through leadership of the warehouse supervisory team and warehouse employees.
Salary Range
$87,000 to $97,000 annually +10% bonus.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :
Operations :
- Develop and administer cost effective operational schedules approx. 3-4 times per year
- On-going warehouse employee / inventory control / supervisor training
- Responsible to ensure that department achieves operational goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly basis)
Financial Responsibilities :
Monitor and control variable departmental costs on a daily / weekly basisReview and approval of weekly payrollLeadership, Morale, Relationships and Communications

Responsible for the safety of all employees and visitors through compliance of Martin Brower’s Health & Safety policies and provincial legislationInvestigation of accidents and incidents to ensure all reporting is completedDevelop and administer safe warehouse training programsEnsure department recognizes and operates in an environmentally competent mannerEmployee Management :
Responsible for the hiring of Warehouse employeesDirect and monitor employees to ensure quality standards are achieved for all goods shipped and receivedOversee labour relations by managing grievance procedures, discipline, employee concerns, etc., within the parameters of the collective agreementFacility & Equipment :
Ensure compliance with industry, company and sanitation standards, including making sure physical plant and warehouse equipment is free from hazards and meets legislated requirementsEnsure the operations follow all Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) / Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulationsOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience :
3-5 years of management experience in a warehouse environmentBachelor’s Degree, preferably in logistics / warehousing or related fieldStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft officeWilling to work any shift and any schedule due to our 24 / 7 environmentThis position must pass a post-offer background checkPreferred Skills and Experience :
