You love to laugh and have the ability to take a heavy workload in stride.How You’ll Make An Impact
Report to Manager, Community Programs & Events.Provide administrative support including Equipment and Inventory Management.Coordinate AMA events and liaise with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.Coordinate and deliver effective AMA school safety programs to ensure ongoing operation excellence.Represent AMA as a brand ambassador with all of AMA’s community partners.Promote key AMA advocacy messaging while helping to enhance AMA’s brand in the community.What You Bring To The Table
You have a high school diploma or post‑secondary diploma in related fields. A Degree in communications, marketing, early childhood development or community development is an asset.You have one to two years of experience in applicable fields, such as public relations, program coordination, event management, sponsorship and print production is required.Your demonstrated communications or marketing skills would be considered an asset.You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and access to a personal vehicle.You can produce a bondable, vulnerable sector reference check (police check).You have some first aid training or willing to take first aid training.Belonging Matters Here
