Front-End Software Developer

We are hiring for a Front-End Software Developer who will participate in the design, implementation and tests of our Constellation Manager product as well as contributing to other Web-based interfaces.

This position is HYBRID

Core Responsibilities :

• Create, modify, and maintain Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS programs in an efficient way, according to the specifications or to users requests as well as to draw up the documentation and to carry out tests
• Control and apply the various programming languages used, to know and use the existing software code as well as to implement programs or to modify them by using the available tools
• See to the preparation of documents in relation to implementing programs and modules
• Prepare the documentation concerning the operation and to collaborate in implementing recommendations
• Assume the responsibility of UI design
• Work on new production projects and prepare the instructions intended for the operating service
• Carry out the statements of requirements as to the modifications of the ActiVia software
• Assume the responsibility for the tests
• Prepare architectural documentation for internal reference, the product’s limitations, and the technical reference manual
• Participate in production, support, and validation activities
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

Développeur de logiciels Front-End

Nous recrutons un développeur de logiciels frontaux qui participera à la conception, à l'implémentation et aux tests de notre produit Constellation Manager et contribuera à d'autres interfaces Web.

Principales responsabilités :

• Créer, modifier et maintenir des programmes Angular, JavaScript, HTML et CSS de manière efficace, selon les spécifications ou les demandes des utilisateurs ainsi que pour rédiger la documentation et effectuer des tests.
• Maîtriser et appliquer les différents langages de programmation utilisés, connaître et utiliser le code logiciel existant ainsi qu'implémenter des programmes ou les modifier en utilisant les outils disponibles.
• veiller à la préparation des documents relatifs à la mise en œuvre des programmes et des modules
• Préparer la documentation relative à l'opération et collaborer à la mise en œuvre des recommandations
• Assumer la responsabilité de la conception de l'interface utilisateur
• Travailler sur de nouveaux projets de production et préparer les instructions destinées au service d'exploitation
• Effectuer les relevés d'exigences quant aux modifications du logiciel ActiVia
• Assumer la responsabilité des tests
• Préparer la documentation architecturale pour référence interne, les limitations du produit et le manuel de référence technique
• participer aux activités de production, de support et de validation
• d'autres tâches assignées par la direction.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• Minimum 8 years or more of relevant experience required
• Experience in JavaScript, Angular, HTML
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience working with Docker
• Knowledge of various programming languages
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
