Description

Managing Operations and Department Budgets

Oversee budget management and operational standards.Ensure brand-specific service programs are executed.Manage labor flow for profitability.

Maintain property cleanliness and safety.Implement major brand standards.Delegate responsibilities effectively.

Managing Beverage and Food Operations

Monitor inventory and reduce waste.Build vendor relationships.Ensure organization and cleanliness.Conduct compliance audits.

Provide technology troubleshooting.

Managing and Sustaining Sales and Marketing Strategy

Manage key accounts.Develop marketing strategies.Identify local partnerships.Utilize social media for promotion.Implement sales strategies.

Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities

Recruit, hire, and train associates.Facilitate cross-training.Conduct performance reviews.Support HR transactions.

Managing Profitability

Control controllable costs.Analyze property performance.Update profit forecasts.Review invoices.

Maintaining Revenue Management Goals

Coordinate with revenue management office.Analyze revenue management reports.Drive same-day sellouts.

Managing Relationships with Property Stakeholders

Communicate property performance.Prepare and present reports.Conduct property critiques.

Additional Responsibilities

Manage correspondence.Participate in conference calls.Provide follow-up information.Prepare for team visits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a cross-functional, hotel and hospitality management property, overseeing hotel, food and beverage and operations departments within a high volume environment, as a General Manager, Director of F&B, Rooms Division or other senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to attract, retain and build a large, (100+ employees) high-performing hospitality and operations team.
  • Post-secondary education in Hotel or Hospitality management a strong preference.
