Part-time Bookkeeper

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableBookkeeperto join our team on a part-time basis (minimum of 20 hours per week). The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accuracy in our accounting records, and support our leadership team with timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and submit HST filings.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with payroll preparation and expense tracking.
• Support management with financial reporting and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency withQuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Experience in construction or renovation industries is considered an asset.
