Field Service IT Support Technician (Part time)

Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Field IT Service Support Technician (Part time) for the Dow West Hill site !

Title : Field IT Service Support Technician (Part time)

Location : Onsite, 2 Manse Road, Scarborough, ON M1E 3T9

Contract Length : 12 months

Part time : Two days a week Either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday

On call : Needs to be on call for major incidents when the main tech cannot respond. Sites - St Clair River, West Hill (Scarborough), or Rexdale Etobicoke.

Job description :

Provide Field Service Support to site.

• Deskside and Tech-hub IT support.
• Completing on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests
• Initiates and facilitates the discussion with customer and respective resolution stakeholders during critical issues.
• Must be self-motivated and able to produce results in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, communication, listening and negotiating skills.
• Address escalated management issue that needs special attention.
• Work directly & providing guidance to clients on issues that need to be investigated and / or escalated.
• Ability to work with site clients, global Service Delivery teams and outsourced service providers to enable a seamless end user experience this may include educating clients on new products and services, tools and how to report a problem or request a service.

IT Asset Management

• Coordinate, promote implementation and monitoring of IT equipment waste, processes, reporting.
• Partner with service managers, ITRMs, warehouse team & vendors to drive IT disposal process.
• Work independently on project assignments; monitor and manage.
• Look and communicate opportunities to improve the disposal process.
• Coordinate safety requirements and work to schedule global pickups.
