We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Calgary transportation client on an initial 12-month contract, where you'll be at the forefront of EHMS, AHMS, TrakCom Replacement, Towers & Bungalows projects, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Lead various business analysis activities such as process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of project objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Liaise effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide direction to junior analysts, and ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives.
  • Continuously review and enhance business processes to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.
  • Manage the coordination of assets across projects, working directly with project managers, solution architects, developers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Oversee testing activities to ensure the quality and integrity of project deliverables, providing assurance that solutions meet stakeholder requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Experience producing and reviewing system and feature level documentation for complex initiatives.
  • Experience with Business Process Management lifecycle and modeling techniques.
  • Experience / Knowledge of agile methodologies and supporting tools.
  • Good understanding of business and process analysis approaches and techniques.
  • Ability to perform effectively and prioritize under tight deadlines with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work well with users having varying technical understanding.
  • Ability to understand technical solution and process flow at a high level.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong client / user interaction skills to elicit requirements.
  • Strong initiative and problem solving skills.
