Injection Molding Set-Up and Maintenance Technician
Position : Injection Molding Set-Up and Maintenace Technician
Location : Montreal (applicants from Ottawa and Gatineau are welcome to apply if open to relocating)
Salary : $60,000 to $62,000 + full benefits may be flexible according to experience
Shift : Monday to Friday, day shift, 40 hours / week, flexible hours
A well-established manufacturing company in Montreal is currently seeking an experienced Process Technician in Injection Molding to join their team in Montreal.
If you have a background working as a Technician within the plastics injection molding industry, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

In this role, you will :
- Report directly to the production manager
- Optimize the process of the machines
- Perform the removal and installation of injection mold, clamping and securing to machine following safe working practices
- Set up water lines and electrical connections
- Make initial setup adjustments
- Initiate, adjust and improve the efficiency of the machines
- Oversee the production cycle of the injection molding machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues that arise
Requirements :
- At least two years of recent experience in injection molding production industry working with production equipment
- Education relevant to plastic, injection molding, or a relevant technical field is preferred
- Good communication skills
