Job DescriptionNOTE : for first 2-3 years this role will require up to 50% travel internationally as they roll-out ERP (ORACLE FUSION) globally.

Canada has been done, it’s now USA and AUSTRAILIA so travel will be those two locations first. YOU MUST HAVE VALID PASSPORT TO TRAVEL FREELY INTERNATIONALLY.

There is a travel bonus on top of a project bonus and profit sharing (paid out twice in March and July).Base salary up to 110K.

If person in North Bay, work is ONSITE. If person in VAUGHN work is 3x onsite 2 x off.The IT Business Analyst’s role is to support the Business Applications project leads in the planning, design, develop, and launch efficient business systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The IT Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

Responsibilities Strategy and Planning : Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issuesReview and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systemsIdentify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actionsAcquisition and Deployment : Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applicationsConduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing effortsPerform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisionsOperations Management : Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organizationDevelop and configure reports to improve financial reporting and analysisEnsure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systemsCoordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation supportProvide orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems Learn, design and build reporting using proprietary tools in other third-party solutionsReview query performance and optimize where requiredAssess and amend any errors in a timely fashionProvide status reports where requiredWork with and assist project teams on implementation or upgrades of new and existing business solutionsQualifications EducationRequired : College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 3 years related work experience.

Work ExperienceRequired : 3+ years’ experience in deployment and support of software systems implementations and global environment (cloud, hosted and on-premise platforms) Knowledge RequiredIn-depth experience supporting HFM, Hard Dollar, InEight Cloud, SharePoint, Intelex Safety, Oracle Fusion, E-Front LMS, PowerBi solution, Big Data applicationsPrior application administration experience with any of the following solutions is beneficial : Oracle (Primavera, Hyperion, Fusion), InEight Cloud, IntelexProven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or productsExtensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow chartsProven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologiesExcellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

Flexible and adaptable in learning new technologies and solutionsDemonstrated project management skills; Business Analysis and Project Management Fundamentals training or PMP designation an assetFluent English language skills.
