Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB?

At Dexterra, we create exceptional customer experiences that make our clients shine. This position works weekend days, and on call for covering sick days or vacation. Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays.

Must have a criminal background check through Waterloo Region Police station before starting.

As a heavy‑duty Custodial Associate reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction and the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor.

Your work will include :

• Cleaning of offices, dusting, vacuuming and removal of garbage
• Detail clean stairwells and elevator
• Wash large floor surfaces using mop, walk‑behind mop
• Wipe high‑level ledges and windowsills
• Cleaning washrooms multiple times a day
• Full cleaning of showers and locker rooms
• Transport cleaning machinery, when necessary, between floors and work areas
• Remove and transport garbage from drop points to garbage compactor
