We are the Volvo distributor for British Columbia and the Yukon, and our product line also includes, Metso crushing and screening equipment, Timberpro feller bunchers, Sennebogen material handlers, and Madill forestry products.

As our Heavy Equipment Technician you'll play an integral role in performing major diagnostics and major repairs and servicing all equipment in fleet with minimal supervision.
You are responsible for providing the highest quality of service and complying with the company's established policies and procedures.
This position may be responsible for developing and coaching apprentices.

- Critical Thinking . You cut to the chase by collecting and examining technical information and make decisions on what is relevant in order to pinpoint issues with mechanical systems.
You will have an in-depth understanding of diagnostic tools, how to access product information, and you'll be proficient in providing solutions to problems in a timely manner with minimal assistance.
As well you will thrive on the challenge of troubleshooting and possess the ability to read various system diagrams
Resilience . This can be a physical job with heavy lifting and carrying. The pace can be fast, the hours can be long during busy cycles and you may also need to work overtime.
You will also realize that you need to recharge regularly we insist that you take your vacation time!
- Safety Minded. First and foremost you work safely, following all safety programs and procedures every time. We have adopted best practices when developing our systems and procedures and you'll become a champion for consistently staying in the lines.
