The Role : As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing, developing, and implementing specialized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, providing comprehensive care and support while also educating and guiding patients and their families on therapeutic strategies and daily living skills.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and evaluate patients' needs, abilities, and goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to maximize independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with professional standards.
Requirements :
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Canada.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
