MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Salary : $60-110k, depending on education, experience

Hours : Fulltime
Note : Candidates must have lived in Canada for at least the last 5 years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Creation of ISI producibility design rules and interim products / product families;
- Develop ISI production norms by interim product based on time studies & data analysis;
- Development of the CSC Manufacturing; Instructions & Processes build documentation for Manufacture and construction of the CSC vessel;
- Supporting the design reviews for producibility through the ISI design rules.
Qualifications :
- Academically qualified as an engineer with a recognized university bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;
- 3+ years’ experience in a complex system manufacturing environments - shipbuilding experience will be an asset but not required;
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or equivalent, or the ability to obtain P.Eng;
- Experience with manufacturing process assessment and development;
- Experience creating production or process documentation (Manufacturing Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and similar);
- Experience using Product Life Cycle Management, NC, Planning, MRP, or other Manufacturing software and systems;
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in English, both orally and in writing;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
