Job Title : Senior Accountant

Location : North Shore of Montreal

Salary : Up to 90K

Duration : 6-month position with high probability of permanency afterwards.

Responsibilities

The senior accountant will have the following responsibilities, among others :

• Carry out general accounting for various projects;
• Prepare monthly internal financial statements;
• Ensure the accounting of investments and other transactions;
• Review the work of an accounting technician;
• Produce P&L and budget variance analyses;
• Validate all financial data from external partners;
• Validate the capitalization of eligible transactions;
• All other related tasks

Qualifications

We are looking for the following qualifications for this Senior Accountant position :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting;
• Bilingual french-english;
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry, an asset;
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting;
• Autonomy, resourcefulness and sense of responsibility.
