What you will be doing
Provide a warm, engaging and personalized experience for our guestsRespond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely mannerPromote hotel amenities, rooms and other services available at the Hotel; provide guests with information such as local attractions and directions as neededLearn the details and be familiar with the current available rooms, their location, layout and room ratesCoordinate room status updates with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure up to date room availabilityMaintain inventories of room vacancies, reservations and room assignmentsCompile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchersBecome familiar with the daily activities, events and meetings taking place within the Hotel and Private Event spacesManage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous mannerProcess reservations delivered by telephone, mail, fax, central reservation systems, sales office and travel agentsParticipate in efficient pre‑arrival, arrival, departure and overall experience for guestsPresent statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment; maintain cash float and security of keysCross train on night audit shift and in housekeeping department and assist as neededMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorExercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilitiesDrive positive change in the organizationOther duties as assignedThe Hospitality You Bring to Every Stay
1‑2 years’ experience in a hotel environment, preferably as a Guest Services Agent or Night AuditorFriendly, professional, and customer service focusedStrong problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSmart Serve certification requiredFlexible availability to work mornings and afternoons, both mid‑week and on weekendsCompletion of college or university program in hospitality management is considered an assetExperience using Hotel PMS software Jonas Chorum considered an assetAre You Ready to Take the Lead?
