Job Description

• Collection of accounts receivable, outstanding rentals, and bad debts
• Credit approvals for term and balance forward accounts
• Credit approvals for consumer and commercial account rentals
• Assist customers inquiring about their accounts and rents
• Locate new contact information for credit customers
• Perform sundry account maintenance
• Registration of accounts through Personal Property Registry
• Work with Equifax reports and their reporting criteria
• Work with Small Claims Courts system
• Provide regular status reports to the Store Manager
• Provide monthly status reports to the Account Services Regional Manager

Job Requirements

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service, both in-store and over the phone
• Thorough organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to resolution
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with consumer credit and collections an asset
