As the Module Team Leader, you are responsible for leading the daily activities of a team of employees and ensure all aspects of the team, including input and output, run smoothly.
Meet Your Future Team : Under the supervision of Module Supervisor, you will work with production operators from multiple modules.
If you were our Module Team Leader, here are some of the core activities you would be doing :
- You lead and motivate the team, including but not limited to, providing coaching, training, communicating objectives, and planning efficient distribution of work to each team member with an open and positive culture
- You ensure and maintain high levels of Arc’teryx standards of workmanship and efficiency
- You verify daily production requirements and monitor job progress by providing regular progress report to other team leaders and the Module Supervisor
- You monitor the raw material’s inventory and coordinate with the necessary departments to replenish accordingly
- You facilitate effective and productive communications within the team as well as outside the team
- You ensure that employee’s timesheets are accurate, with timework properly coded
- You operate various types of machinery as required and be a role model in production excellence
- You ensure that work orders are completed in a timely fashion
- You promote a clean and safe working environment and perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future :
- Develop broader and deeper understanding of different model types in order to support seasonal and other changeovers
- Develop knowledge in production management including basic foundations in Lean and 6S
- Take accountabilities of the modules in the absence of the Module Supervisor and be able to track and address employee performance and make decisions independently

- You have 2+ years’ experience in an apparel factory environment
- You have a strong knowledge base in all aspects of clothing construction
- You have strong attention to detail
- You have strong English verbal and written communication skills
- You have previous leadership experiences with the ability to build and develop a team
- You have strong organizational and problem solving skills
- You have the ability to work well independently and in a team
- You have the ability to work with people in a professional manner under all circumstances
- You have a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

- You have fluency in a second language
