What is the opportunity?

The Senior Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, housekeeping, and fabricating parts and tools for plant improvements and upgrades. This role is located in Bowmanville, Ontario.

What will you do?

• Maintain good relationship with other supervisors and managers in the team and another area.
• Coordinate and stay informed regarding millwrights’ activities and assess all mechanical activities’ progress in your area.
• Keep yourself informed on all safety aspects regarding mechanical activities.
• Anticipate problems and actions of the millwrights and try to prevent conflicts.
• Ensure all work follows the quality assurance program / procedures.
• Be available from time to time to inspect equipment.
• Participate in the internal Maintenance team meetings.
• Participate in specialist meetings regarding mechanical issues and Maintenance Procedures (Preventive, predictive and other tools).
• Keep yourself informed regarding any new project underway in the plant.
• Keep the Mechanical Maintenance Manager informed.
