We currently have an opening for a full-time position as a Leadership Development Trainer and Coach in our Trois-Rivieres location to conduct trainings and coaching around our AAR Leadership University training material.
Leadership development is crucial to our organization. We are seeking a trainer and coach who has unbridled passion for leadership development.
The role of a Leadership Development Trainer and Coach is to deliver the AAR Leadership University standard learning curriculum and programs for multiple levels of leadership, including supervisors, managers, directors, etc.
on multiple shifts and locations. As our Leadership Development Trainer and Coach you will ensure our leaders obtain the skills needed to better lead their teams to success.
These skills include communication, time management, team-building, bridging generational gaps, openness to diversity, etc.
This role directly manages the learner experience and is the face of our AAR Leadership curriculum, therefore must walk the talk of our company values and how those values are expressed through the trainings.
The goal of each of our trainers is to enhance leadership performance, connect leadership skills to the business, cultivate inclusive mindsets, assist in driving culture and develop the future leaders of our organization.
Core responsabilities
- Delivers leadership development training using a variety of training modalities while fostering a positive and energetic environment for learning
- Partners and consults with key stakeholders in the local organization as well as other divisions on leadership development needs, culture development, and change management initiatives
- Partners effectively with team members and leadership on the scheduling and delivery of training, projects or initiatives
- Deliver training and coaching to multiple levels of leaders such as supervisors, managers, directors, and / or vice presidents in multiple shifts and at multiple locations
- Facilitates learning to develop participants' leadership, diversity and inclusion competencies, and help learners meet specified performance expectations
- Monitors linkage between curriculum and improved learner job performance; coaches participants on the job and in one on one sessions and group sessions, ensuring learning translates to performance
- Evaluate Learning and Development needs, identify gaps in leadership skills, propose solutions and develop training to address the needs
- Translate learning material from English to French and reverse in a coherent and fluent manner.
- Manages classroom environment to ensure an inclusive, safe and high-quality learning experience; addresses inappropriate behavioral issues and escalate as necessary
- Hold confidentiality at a premium

Required experience
- 5+ years of Leadership training and development experience required
- 5+ years of Coaching experience highly preferred
- Fluent in English and French, both oral and written
- Experience with delivery of diversity and inclusion training is preferred
- Experience with Leadership assessments, such as DiSC, Myers-Briggs, Energy Leadership, and 360s preferred
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Comfortable delivering training to multiple levels of leadership such as supervisors, managers, directors, etc.
- Coaching Certification highly preferred
- Education Level : Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, HR, Organizational Design, Learning & Development or similar, or Experience Equivalent
